Welcome to Miss Bookish Girl!
I started writing about books online in 2007, only having the courage to “go public” in 2009. Personally, I blame Julie Powell.
Besides being bookish, I’m a bit of a foodie, a budding photographer and a traveler. I’m hoping to open up a bit more about some of my non-bookish passions, as I think it would be nice to have this blog reflect more of who I am as a person, rather than strictly focusing on who I am as a reader.
I also contribute pieces for FoodRiot.com, where my passion for cooking and all things food-related has a chance to shine. It’s a fabulous site, so after you’re finished poking around here for a bit, go ahead and check it out.
I live happily in Northern California with my husband, our cats, and an overflowing library.
